The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed way over ten thought provoking weekly sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun. Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have already found it to be a worthwhile experience.

Each session begins with a meal which is a great chance to get to know others in a small group. There is then a short talk, which looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week. This is followed by a time of discussion in the small groups, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group. The course includes a day away in the middle which many people find to be a beneficial part of the course.

The Alpha Course runs anuallly at The Centre in St Jude's Church, normally on a week day evening. There is no cost to the course though you can make a small contribution towards the meal if you wish.
