Carers & Toddlers

An informal gathering of pre-school children and their parent/carer to play and chat.

Carers & Toddlers serves the community by providing an inviting environment for parents/carers to bring their pre-school children (ages 0-4 years). Children can play together and have fun with a variety of toys, whilst giving the opportunity for parents and carers to make new friends, chat and gain support.
There’s a short informal singing time for the children and a team of ladies are on hand serving drinks, biscuits and fruit. There’s also an annual Christmas Party and a ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ during the summer, often including a bouncy castle! On children’s birthdays ‘Happy Birthday’ is sung and a small book given to the children as a gift.

Carers & Toddlers meets each Tuesday morning from 9.30 – 11.45am, during term time and sometimes in the school holidays too. It is located in The Centre at the rear of the church, accessible from St Judes Road via the church car park. A donation of £1 is suggested to help buy new toys and books and support the running costs. Carers & Toddlers is not a crèche nor a nursery and therefore parents/carers are responsible for the care of their child whilst at the group.
