‘J’ Team a Sunday morning of songs, stories, games & crafts.

Sunday mornings, 10:30am

J Team stands for ‘Jesus Team’ serving as St Jude’s weekly Sunday school aimed at 3 -11 year olds.  The weekly meeting is an opportunity for children to learn more about Jesus and to grow in the Christian faith.  J Team takes place during the 10:30am Sunday morning service, with the children leaving the service part way through to go to their age based small groups in The Centre.  The second Sunday of the month is a ‘J Team Event’ where all the children join together - this starts at 10:30am.  Here the current theme is explored in a more informal manner and includes games amongst other things!  The first Sunday of the month is All Age Worship where the children join with the adults in church for the whole service, often participating in fun and creative ways.  To find out more, do come along to the 10:30am service on a Sunday morning!

Art Night! craft, community and chaos!
Tuesdays (twice a term), 6-7pm

Do you like painting, being creative and getting a bit gluey and sticky?  Then Art Night is the place for you!  Art Night is a once or twice a term chaotic hour with as many crafts as children can do in the time!  Art Nights take place in The Centre, St Jude’s Church, 6-7pm, giving children (ages 3 -11) and parents or guardians the opportunity to have lots of fun getting all arty!

Carer's & Toddlers- pre-school play and chat
Tuesdays (weekly), 9:45-11:30am

Carers & Toddlers meets each Tuesday morning from 9.30am - 11.45am, during term time and sometimes in the school holidays too.  The group meets in The Centre at the rear of the church, via the church car park, which is accessible from St Judes Road.  A donation of £1 is suggested to help buy new toys and books and support the running costs.  Carers & Toddlers is neither a crèche nor a nursery and therefore parents/carers are responsible for the care of their child whilst at the group.

Schools Work

At the moment, some members from St Judes Church work voluntarily at St Judes Primary School, supporting the staff and teaching team, hearing children read, taking children on trips and occasionally taking assemblies.  Of this, some happens on a weekly basis and other assistance is as the need arises.
