The Cellar is a set up that welcomes all young people from the ages of 11-18yrs, whether from the local community, schools, colleges or the church to jam together in unity under one roof, whilst putting into practice biblical principles and values e.g. no swearing, no racism, no violence, encourage love and harmony and treat each one equally.

The Cellar lounge, a cool and relaxed environment, can help young people realise that there is more to life than all the cool and funky stuff that only lasts for a while. In this space, they can have the opportunity to ask questions about life and what it all means! They can eat and drink non alcoholic drinks and mix with people that want to make a positive impact on youth society and radically change the world for God! The Cellar is open for all young people to simply chill, play some recreational activities, listen to talks about issues that youth relate to today and find out more about life and it’s challenges as well as build friendships and a stronger church community.

| Y.O.S. - Youth on a Sunday |
|
Sunday mornings, 10:30am
Y.O.S facilitated by youth workers, provides an opportunity for young people, from the ages of 11-18, who attend St Jude’s on a Sunday, to join together in The Cellar to gain a better understanding of God’s Word and spend time in prayer to help strengthen their walk in Christ. The meeting contributes to empowering and motivating young people to live a Christ centred lifestyle on a personal level, within the home, at church, at school and on the streets.
This well planned meeting, with clear topics and aims, encourages young people to participate in practical activities (relevant to the topic discussed), ask questions, receive appropriate guidance and support as well as draw closer to God. Y.O.S. also creates a platform to develop strong inter social relationships, a stronger church community and empowers young people to reach out to the lost in the community. The Y.O.S meeting involves exciting group activities, creative arts, discussions, prayer/quiet times and bible studies that are relevant for young people that can make a positive impact on their faith in Christ.

| C4 – Youth Group |
|
Midweek, Evenings
C4 is best described as ‘God’s Support Haven’ providing an opportunity for young people to socialise and invite friends along. These meetings give young people a chance to voice their opinions, ask questions or raise concerns about their Christian walk, personal circumstances and any other experiences or concerns for which they may require support or guidance. The meeting has set targets to ensure young people are discipled, released into their calling and encouraged to be true witnesses and followers of Jesus. C4 meetings are led by mature and caring church youth leaders who are committed and passionate about offering young people guidance and adequate support.

| Unite Youth Events |
|
Bi Monthly Event, 7:30pm - 9:30pm (Doors open 7pm)
Young people from churches across the City are encouraged to meet together to praise God for His goodness and share in the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Unite also provides a platform for young people to creatively express their passion for Jesus through drama etc. Other opportunities include social activities such as bowling. All activities are aimed at building up the spiritual lives of young people today through encountering God, developing greater faith as well as being encouraged by and enjoying the benefits of a wider peer group. Ultimately, the leaders hope that all young people leave each youth event inspired to be a ‘powerhouse’ for Jesus in their City.
