| Enabling people to develop their relationship with God in a small group setting. |
Small Group Communities are groups of up to 10-12 people who meet on a weekly basis mainly during term time, seeking to grow in their relationship with God. These groups are primarily places of support and growth where we seek to enable each other to reflect the love of God through Jesus. Many groups enjoy a time of worship and prayer as part of their time together with some following the teaching programme developed on Sunday mornings. No two groups are the same and are made up of people of various ages and various backgrounds. Currently there is a Ladies Small Group Community that meets weekly and Men's Breakfasts that run seasonally.
Small Group Communities embrace a pastoral and caring role for one another in that they are safe places where problems, sorrows and joys can be shared and difficult questions asked. Social activities also feature from time to time, as does involvement in church services on the third Sunday of most months. |
| Small Group Communities meet on different nights of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to try and accommodate all needs. Meetings usually begin at 8pm and last approximately one and a half hours. |
