| St Jude’s Church is the local church in the Anglican Parish of St Jude in Wolverhampton and part of the Diocese of Lichfield. Like all Anglican churches, it is led by the Vicar, Church Wardens and the Parochial Church Council (PCC). As a church, we aim to encourage every member to use their gifts for the benefit of the church and the wider community, all to the glory of God. Meet our full time staff... | |

Children & Families Outreach Worker.
We are currently looking to appoint someone to this vacant post. We are praying for God’s guidance on how to move forward with this important work and the PCC has taken the decision to ring-fence the funding for any future worker. Currently, we are maintaining the work through a team of forty volunteers that work across the whole of the children’s ministry.

He has stepped up to the challenge of being a CYM Trainee Youth Worker on placement here whilst working with the existing volunteer team. Will gets involved in all sorts of things from helping run Sunday morning Bible Studies, C4 midweek groups and Friday night Youth Club to cramming twelve people into a room to watch films and eat pizza!. Incidentally, Will’s favourite food is sherry trifle or any other kind of trifle for that matter! He loves acting, swimming and climbing as well as chilling out with friends and having a laugh too!!

| Placement Students | |
One of our values here at St Jude’s is ‘Training’. In recent years, we have had several people on a variety of placements enabling them to experience and grow through different ministerial opportunities. These have included short term work experience placements as part of academic studies and a gap year with Careforce. Longer term educational placements have included a Future Builder student studying for a degree in Children’s work with Birmingham Christian College, a youth ministry trainee on a diploma course with CYM (Centre for Youth Ministry) and an apprentice exploring a call to ordained ministry through the Diocese of Lichfield. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of a placement here at St Jude’s and would like to receive further information please contact us. |
