| Making known the life changing message of Jesus Christ to young people aged 11 -17! |
| St Jude’s Youth Ministry has a passion and are on a mission to help support the spiritual, educational, emotional and physical development of young people at St Jude’s Church and to non-churched young people living in Wolverhampton. |
| The Cellar |
Friday Night Youth Club, 7-9pm
The Cellar is a ‘unique and urban’ set up that welcomes all young people from the ages of 11-17yrs, whether from ‘the hood’, school, colleges and from the church to jam together in unity under one roof, put into practice biblical principles and values (such as no swearing, no racism, no violence, promoting love and harmony and treating each one equally).

The Cellar lounge with its a cool and relaxed environment can help young people realise that there is more to life than all the cool and funky stuff that only last for a while. They can have the opportunity to ask questions about life and what it all means! They can eat and drink non alcoholic drinks and mix with people that want to make a positive impact on youth society and radically want to change the world for God! At The Cellar there is no sense of ‘bible bashing ‘or being God ‘crazy’, the Cellar is open for all young people to simply chill, play some recreational activities, listen to talks about issues that youth relate to and find out more about life and it’s challenges and the opportunity to build friendship and promote a church community.

| Y.O.S. - Youth on a Sunday |
Sunday mornings, 10:30am
Y.O.S facilitated by youth workers, provides an opportunity for young people from the ages of 11-17 who attend St Jude’s on a Sunday, to join together at the Cellar and gain a better understanding of God’s Word and spend time in prayer to help strengthen their walk in Christ. The meeting enables to empower and motivate young people to live a Christ centred lifestyle on a personal level, within the home, at church, at school, and on the streets.
This well planned meeting with clear topics and aims encourages young to participate in practical activities (relevant to the topic discussed), ask questions, receive appropriate guidance and support and draw closer to God. Y.O.S. also creates a platform to develop strong inter social relationships, develop a stronger church community and empower them to reach out to the lost in the community. The Y.O.S meeting involves exciting group activities, creative arts, discussions, prayer/quiet times and bible studies that are relevant for young people and making a positive impact on their faith in Christ. |
| C4 – Cell Group |
Midweek, evenings
C4 is best described as a ‘God’s Support Haven’. It provides an opportunity for young people to socialise, and invite friends along. These meetings give a chance for young people to voice their opinions, ask questions or raise concerns about their Christian walk, personal circumstances and any other experiences or concerns that they may require support or guidance with. The meeting has set targets to ensure young people are discipled, released into their calling and encouraged to be true witnesses and followers of Jesus. C4 meetings are led by well mature and caring church youth leader’s who are committed and passionate about offering young people guidance and adequate support. |
